This Christmas carol is
sung all over Greece. However, there are many other kinds of
Christmascarols depending on the area in Greece. For Corfu e.g.
there are various Christmas carols and the singers can sing for
a long time until they are given the reward, sweets or money,
usually money, but in the Greek countryside they also offer
sweets, cakes etc.
The Corfiot Christmas carols I was able to compile are 10 pages
of 4-line stanzas!
Well, I hope you like this carol.
Cheers from Corfu, Greece with a lot of wishes for a very Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year.
